Community Support

To all our community.

Do you know a elderly neighbour ….🤔

We’re appealing to all our club members to lend a supporting hand during the Covid19 pandemic. This can be done by checking in on an elderly neighbour to help with their groceries , prescriptions or helping those isolated people with a disability, we all know someone . For example , our own elderly club members who might not have full family support are looked after by our club members.

Any distance in contact will impact the elderly and people with disabilities particularly hard. It just takes a few minutes to look in on someone 👍

Continue to support, don’t assume , they may need your help. 💚💛🖤👏🙏

Thank you

Club Notice – re Coronavirus

Greenhills Boys FC & Bangor Greenhills Greenpark FC continue to monitor the situation in relation to coronavirus.
We have been in contact with the respective leagues that our teams are represented in and will continue to keep a close on on things and update you all as they progress.

Considering the current situation we would ask all coaches, players and parents to follow the below guidelines:

1.) All players are advised to bring their own water bottles to games and training. This is currently the case with most teams already, but we ask players not to share their water bottles.

2.) Hand sanitisers in the kit bag is a good idea and used as often as possible.

3.)If you need to cough or sneeze and do not have a tissue, do so into the crease of your elbow, but having a tissue at hand is always best practice.

4.)Wash yours hands frequently with warm soapy water before leaving, and when arriving back home and/or as frequently as possible.

5.) Keep your hands away from your face AT ALL TIMES.
Coronavirus can get into the body through mucous membranes on the face — mouth ,eyes, nose.
Make sure any cuts or skin abrasions are covered up with a water proof plaster/dressing

These are precautionary measures drawn up to prevent the spread of COVID-19 Virus.

We are ALL called to play our part to prevent its spread by adhering to the simple steps above.

Should you feel unwell please use common sense and seek a professional diagnosis.
