Our U9s enjoyed a great game vs Killegland on Saturday. This game signaled the end of the 1st part of the season and they now enter their summer break.
Congratulations to all who travelled to Wales over the bank holiday weekend to compete in the Wales Challenge Cup.
Everyone who travelled had a great time.
An added bonus was the silverware brought home by the U11s & U16s. The U11s won the best Sporting Team (Fair Play award) for the U11 age group – this is given out by the organisers to the team that behaved the best both on & off the pitch , showed respect to referees and opposition players. Well done to the lads for that.
Our U16s (who won the Fair Play award last year) went one better this year by winning the U16 Competition by beating local rivals Clondalkin Celtic 3-0 in the Final. Great celebrations followed as the lads collected their trophy. The trophy was presented by ex Liverpool,Leeds Utd and Scotland international Gary McAllister.
