This Sunday sees our Snr Sun Side host Bluebell United in the 2nd round of the Metropolitan Cup. The game will be played in Greenhills Park this coming Sunday 5th Nov – KO 11am

This game has added interest as Ger Looney (1st team manager) was the 2nd Team manager at Bluebell United for a number of years and then became the assistant manager for the 1st team where he assisted Mark Kennedy. Our 1st team assistant manager Damien Dunne (AKA Dayo) has also been part of the Bluebell setup where he played for 4 seasons.

Just to add more spice to this fixture Bluebell will have Gary Seery in their squad. Gary left GGFC in January to sign for Bluebell. Gary played for a number of years here and has helped our Snr Side in their progression up the leagues prior to his departure.

The Bar will be open in the Community Ctr after the game so all welcome.
