Small sided game reports 16th Nov

Great numbers again in our academy morning. Well done to all

U8s-Four great games played by both teams and all very competitive. Fair play to Greenhills Boys u8’s and Rosemount Mulvey for the braving the weather ….. looking forward to the return match.

U10D braved the cold conditions to put on their best performance of the season against a very good portmarnock side this morning in greenhills park. Everyone played really well with a man of the match performance by Dillan Mcreery the pick of the bunch.

U10E1 game was postponed today.

Roll into Tuesdsys training down in Bluebell Astro. See you all then.

RIP Fran Ray

This weekends DDSL/SFAI fixtures 16th/17th November WILL go ahead as scheduled as were the wishes of our late Secretary and Hon Life President Fran Ray. 
We ask all our Clubs where possible to observe a minutes silence/applause at games this weekend as a mark of respect.

Small sided game report 2nd Nov

Another positive weekend for our small sided games section.

The academy had another strong week high numbers attending on Saturday morning.

U8’s put in a good performance against a good side in Transport Iveagh ….overall the games were evenly shared ……upwards and onwards ……well done to all involved 💚💛🖤🥅⚽

U10D played out an end to end draw at home to ardmore. All the goals came in the first half with the second half ending goalless thanks to both goalkeepers and defences playing really well.

U10E1 had a tough match away to St Joseph’s but continue to show week on week improvement in their passing, tackling and positional play.

Well done to all involved keep up the training. See you all on Tuesday at Bluebell Astro 6-7pm.
