The Committee of Greenhills Boys FC would like to announce that Ger Looney has been appointed as the Director of Football for our Schoolboy Section.

Ger brings in over 20 years managing and coaching experience in the top level of Senior Football in both the AUL and LSL.

During his time as our senior manager Ger brought the side up the leagues and obtained intermediate football for our Senior section. Ger also managed the Oscar Traynor league selection for the LSL.

Ger has ‘UEFA-C’ qualifications and his knowledge will be a huge benefit to our schoolboy section.

In line with this evenings government announcement..

All scheduled matches (competitive and friendly/in-house friendlies) have been postponed for the next 3 weeks.

The club is committed to maintain our club training schedule for all teams until we are advised differently , whilst reducing and restricting any contact between players where feasible 💚

It is paramount that all players attending any training session continue to notify on arrival team compliance covid officer as per the current safety protocols.

THANK YOU for your continued understanding and we urge all members of the community to stay safe and adhere to Level 3 guidelines for the foreseeable future . We beat this before , we’ll do it again

Our Successful Academy will continue every Saturday at 10.30am.

The academy caters for boys and girls from ages 4-7

The sessions are €3.00 per player and the training lasts about 1hr.

The academy prepares boys and girls for when they start playing competitive football at U8s.
