Greenhills XI (1 – 3) Republic Of Ireland Masters
Confirmed GBFC Players FAI Summer Camp - Book Here
A great turn out today in Greenhills Park for the Greenhills XI vs Republic Of ireland Masters to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

The crowd were treated to a very entertaining game. The game finished 3-1 to the Republic Of Ireland masters. At half time it was 0-0 but the Masters introduced some big guns. The masters side went 2 up with goals from their Man Of The Match Derek Treacy. Greenhills got one back with a superb goal.from Darren Goode. He looked up and seen the keeper of his line and lobbed him from the half way line. Goode went close again hitting the crossbar before the masters wrapped it with a close range header past Greenhills Man Of The Match Roy Lawlor.

Big thanks to Mick Byrne and The FAI masters team for helping up celebrate our 50th anniversary.

Thanks also to Paul Tuite , Jason Kelly & Jimmy Keating for officiating this game.

Congratulations to our U14s who won the DDSL U14s Paisley Deering Cup on Saturday. It is a great achievement by the lads as they became the 1st team in 36 yrs to win a DDSL Cup for Greenhills Boys. The last DDSL Cup win was back in 1981.. The cup took pride of place at our 50th Celebration Dinner Dance at the Spawell Complex on Saturday Night.
The hero on the day was Adam Bates as he scored a hat trick , the other goal was scored by Tiernan Stynes.
Here is a video of them collecting their medals and the cup.
Congratulations to Paddy Macken who won this round of LMS and receives €290.
The next competition will start on weekending 30th Sept. Please text your entries to 0862593650 before the first game Sat 30th (12.30 Huddersfield Town Vs Tottenham Hotspur)
