A big well done to our U9 player Dan McClean who stepped up and helped out our U11s on Saturday. Even though he was playing out of his age group (by 2 years) he played a stormer by all accounts. U11s manager Kevin O’Connor said after game Dan was brilliant throughout the game and did not look out of place at all.

To add to his credit he managed to score 1 of the goals and hit the crossbar in the win for Greenhills.

Dan congratulations on you performance on Saturday and thanks for helping out the U11s.

As the Senior Season comes to an end the Committee would like to thank the Community Centre for their continued support and the sponsorship of refreshments after games on Sundays.

This gesture was a great added bonus as we could provide after match refreshments to travelling teams to Greenhills Park – especially the teams who travelled up from the country (Portlaoise , Willows and Mullingar).

We look forward to this continued support over the coming seasons.
