It was with great sadness to hear that Mr Austin Reid (Snr) has passed away.

Our condolences are with all of the Reid family at this time.

Austin was a true football man and was involved in football all his life. He attended training sessions and games in all weather conditions to show his support. Austin played a huge in part in the growth of Greenpark FC (Chairman) over the years and was also heavily involved in the merger of Greenhills Boys and Greenpark FC in 2010. This move kept both senior clubs going at the time and the merger has proved successful to this day with a strong senior set-up in Greenhills\Greenpark FC. Austin always had a keen interest in the success of the schoolboy section in Greenhills (prior to the merger) due to the fact his sons and grandsons played for the club.

Most of all Mr Reid was a gentleman.

Austin will be sorely missed by everyone around the club.
